The area
Castelnuovo dell’Abate sits in the southern part of Montalcino, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and iconic Val d’Orcia landscapes. The village is peaceful and authentic, with a few local spots and some of the most atmospheric countryside roads in Tuscany.
